Many clients know that they are in need of help, but are uncertain what kind of help to ask for. To assist, we have packages three of our most common consulting engagements into fixed timeline, fixed budget projects for you to choose from.

Strategic Assessment Engagement

The Strategic Assessment Engagement focuses on establishing scope, needs, opportunity, and high-level requirements of your project. The engagement begins with the distribution of a short questionnaire asking stakeholders to identify current issues as well as short and long-term needs. This questionnaire feeds a series of stakeholder interviews that explore these issues and needs in more depth. After the stakeholder interview data is assembled, a workshop is held to review the findings and strategize on the business opportunity. The outcome of the Strategic Assessment Engagement is a Vision document that details the findings and makes recommendations as to the direction forward. The Vision document is an excellent asset to support the development of a business case as well as product selection.

Requirements Assessment Engagement

The Requirements Assessment Engagement focuses on the articulation of the business requirements for your project. This engagement is the next step after the Strategic Assessment that identifies scope, stakeholders, issues, needs and high-level requirements. Through a series of stakeholder interviews and a requirements gathering workshop, detailed business requirements are gathered, rated, and prioritized. The outcome is the Business Requirements Document. This document is required before any selection can be made on a product or platform, as well as any implementation.

Solution Evaluation and Selection

After a thorough assessment of your business requirements, the Solution Evaluation and Selection guides clients through the process of selecting the best product for their needs. Selection of a product before developing a thorough set of business requirements is the number one mistake with content management implementations. These business requirements are translated into technical requirements that will then be used to select the best solution. To ensure a fair and unbiased product evaluation, a high level assessment of the product category is done to select a shortlist of product contenders. To ensure a fair comparison, a demo script is created for the vendors to follow, during which stakeholders can evaluate the product in a corresponding evaluation spreadsheet. Following the demonstrations, the results are aggregated and a recommendation is made.
