Project Description
Streetsmart Publications Inc is a small publishing company with an eye to producing boutique travel guides to niche destinations. The aim is to provide the inside track on where to eat, shop, explore, chill and sleep. The company launched its first guide, Streetsmart Bahrain, on the 11th of March 2012, and quickly saw demand for an electronic version of the book.
EverAge converted the book from its original InDesign format to the iBook format. The conversion included the migration of all text and images, as well as the creation of several custom widgets. The challenge was to stay true to the original book, while fully exploiting the new technology, and reformatting for the iPad dimensions.
